Just noticed Google's new look while searching for articles this evening:

1. Something's not quite right about the Google re-design. I think it's the absence of the pseudo-tabbed interface - the 'Web', 'Images', 'Groups' links look a little bare and out of place now.

I guess a change is as good as a holiday, though.

2. Waaaah... Hey, maybe that bookmarklet that was going around to switch from the original to the new one will work the opposite way!

3. with safari on my mac i have really grown accustomed to the tabbed interface, and now on firefox too... perhaps google will give us the option? customizable interface anyone?
