Wired is out with their
annual Wired 40 top "masters of innovation, technology and strategic vision." The company at the top? No surprise -
Google, for the second year in a row. The reason they made the top of the list? Essentially, Wired felt Google had
become "the central clearinghouse" for a "world exploding with information." The magazine praised the search engine
company for the growth they are undergoing.
Competitors Yahoo and Microsoft came in at 7 and 27, respectively.
