2. I hope that the Google machine continues its outstanding production.
It seems that, as I review their progress on a daily basis, every idea I have is within a few days away.
I hope that the guys did not underestimate the costs and time it will take to digitize the libraries. And, I am very interested to learn what will happen with the copyright issue (books that are still within copyrights). Excluding the copyrighted material seems like a big downside to the entire project.
I have about a dozen ideas for the Google team. I'd talk about them but I am sure they will happen eventually.
