Observers have long speculated that Google might introduce a Web browser to its product mix. That idea is gaining strength following a NY Post story which extrapolates the creation of a browser from recent hiring at the Googleplex. A slahdotter checked the domain registration of Gbrowser.com, and discovered that, indeed, Google owns it.

3. The GBrowser from Google is coming and will be tied to the Open Operating System, the product is being designed to spearhead the Open OS movement. Monopoly control of operating systems is coming to a close.

1. I think Google owns a great deal that we don't know about. Ex: I have had emails saying Do you want to exchange links and the look like the DMOZ link ages. How do you know who owns what anymore? YOu can indeed do searches to see who owns a domain but many times its a blind registrant. Its frustrating at times.
