New Gmail Features

Gmail has been updated with significant new features:

  1. Auto-forwarding of received mail

  2. Saved drafts of letters in progress

  3. Contact information can now include on-email information wuch as phone numbers

  4. An Atom feed for the Inbox

Interestingly, not every account has been upgraded. My main Gmail address, bestowed on the first day, does not show the new features. It still displays ads on the right side, too, not on the bottom—a change that was introduced about two weeks ago. But my wife's more recent Gmail account has all the changes.

1. I saw the ATOM feed link/button on my GMail this morning, but now it's gone. The feed page is still there, though, available through https://gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom

2. When I wrote feedback asking for features, such as the number of messages in my spam box, it suddenly appeared as if asking for (already-developped?) features would activate them. I think they are following individual use as much as possible...

3. Not only developped, they must have test it for some days, just waiting for the right time. I believe they looked through every popular webmail and considered every feature seriously.
