Google's consumer market share took a beating in 2004, most notably when Yahoo! withdrew its licensing and switched on its own algorithms. A new study by OneStat.com indicates that Google's user share is on the up again, rising from 56.4 percent of all searches to 57.2 percent. Yahoo! held steady during the term of the study at 21.3 percent.
