Dave Winer has put up a completely unsusbstantiated rumor about Google developing an iTunes-like media player that would be podcast-capable. Because it's Winer, the linkless item is getting circulated. Because I'm a spineless dweeb frightened of being left out of the loop, I'm repeating it here. Actually, podcast aggregation seems within Google's scope, although starting an online service like iTMS would be preposterous. (Yes, I'll eat those words if I have to.)
I got this tidbit from Search Engine Lowdown, where Andy Beal asks what Google should release next. I'd like to see Google Host with capacity and bandwidth ceiling so high that the web-host industry is rattled to its core. (Think Gmail.) Bundle in Google Wallet for micropayment-enabled merchant services.

1. Awesome I am the First person to Comment!
But the Question is are they going to offer a music store service?
