Google/Blogger has released a Word (2000 or later) plug-in that appears as a toolbar allowing writing, drafting, saving, and posting to a Blogger blog. That makes it easy to archive entries off-site, which is always a good idea but rarely done by bloggers. Blogger for Word was announced on the Google blog, posted by the add-on.

1. Well, I was really pleased when I first read about it yesterday. I was actually in the middle of testing of various blog applications. Anyway, I installed the add-on on two diffrent PCs (laptop and desktop). Both are clean slate windows xp sp2 + office 2003 installations. For some strange reason the add-on works very well on one of them, and throws a run-time error (I/O operations) on th e other...
