GOOG To Join Benchmarks?

MarketWatch speculates that Google stock could join the Nasdaq 100, and/or the S&P500, by the end of 2005. If so, it would force buying of the stock by tracking funds and possibly drive its volatile price (~285 at the time of this post) eveh higher. GOOG currently owns a market capitalization of $80-billion, and meets other eligibility requirements of both indexes.
