Google Blogoscped noticed that the Google
interface (not search results) is now available in 11 new languages, most of which I've never heard of. Pashto—isn't
that a food? Tatar—don't I have that on my teeth? Yoruba—a massage parlor? Not to be disrespectful of other languages;
I'm just amazed at Google Google's extreme internationalism is thanks in part to the
volunteer translators Google solicits.

15. yoruba language is the 48TH most widely speak language in the world, over 50 million people across the world speak the language, from yoruba people from south western nigeria to togo, benin, the inago people from cuba and brazil. the present population of yoruba people in nigeria now is closed to 30 million which does not include those i mentioned above. so if you does not know anything about this language, i will advise you to learn more
16. I think Google has done a very good job by adding Pashto the language of Afghans on the list of world langauges. More than 30million people inside Afghanistan and Pakistani-Afghans in Pakistan speak Pashto. More steps toward the Internationalizing of Pashto would be really appreciated by this bulk of population on this part of the World. GOOD JOB GOOGLE.

1. 47 million people speak the three languages you refer to. Over 100 million new speakers can now Google in their native language with this update. That's not extreme internationalism - it makes good business sense and is great PR to boot, with next to no resource requirements.
BTW, people speaking Pashto, Yoruba and Lingala are quite often in the news these days, so it pays to read up on your languages/ethnic groups.
