SEW notes that Sergey Brin, Larry Page, and their
counterparts at Yahoo! rank high on the Forbes 400 wealthiest individuals. Looking over the
full list, I find it most interesting to focus on the top
ten, which is evenly split between the new world and the old. Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Larry Ellison, and Michael Dell
are in the top five, as is Warren Buffet. The next five spaces are completely filled by Walton family members, heirs to
the Wal-Mart fortune.
