For the first time in my Gmail experience, Google is asking for character identification before letting me into Gmail. Are other people getting this? I wonder if this has something to do with thwarting the G2G Exchange.

7. Google is harming those of us whom happen to be blind and visually impaired through their implementation of word verification without an accessible alternative, such as audio playback of the characters to be entered. This is effectively serving as a "no blind people allowed" sign, blocking us from accessing the services and thus from participation on the Internet. As visual verification increases without due consideration of accessibility, we are being thrown off the wagon. Anyone have any ideas?

8. I have gotten this when using non-compliant browsers and after bad passwords. I don't mind the feature, it seems like a helpful added layer of security if it comes in response to an error. If I needed to type in the challenge phrase EVERY time I think I'd get annoyed.
