Google Rumor Update
Engadget reports that
Google officially stomped on the rumor of a Google PC announcement at Larry Page's CES kenote on Friday. (Glad I was right about that one.) Engadget
also reports on the
replacement rumor: A pay-per-download video store. All right ... it would probably need a client to organize and play
back the videos. RealNetworks is said to be involved. That would be most interesting, but I won't sleep tonight
dreaming about it. If announced, I'll lose sleep tomorrow playing with it.

(Page 1)2. Somehow I cant see Google partering with Realnetworks, their inferior solution to streaming video is not going to gain support in the community and will ultimately fail. I definitely wouldnt spend any money to download something in Realmedia format.

1. don't think the video one is a rumor though. There were already reports floating around from an inside source.
