Looks like Google could have their hands full in China again. It appears as though Google.cn, the Google search site
built exclusively with China's censorships in place, has not obtained proper
licensing in the country.
In China, companies that operate Internet content services must have an ICP,
Internet content provider, and license. The Ministry of Information Industry in China uncovered this issue, and said
they were concerned, and investigating the problem.
A spokesperson for Google told the Beijing News that it
shared an ICP license with another, local company, Ganji.com. Foreign investors in Chinese internet services must hand
over operation of the service itself to a Chinese partner, with the foreign investor receiving payment for technical
support.
