Word is out that Google is about to release a social bookmarking feature. Yahoo has the del.icio.us social bookmarking
that it purchased a short time ago, that is a giant player in the industry. The social landscape of the search world is
starting to grow at a rapid pace, and Google has to catch on stronger then they currently are.
Google is
always exploring new opportunities for growth, and expand their offerings, so we'll have to wait and see how this one
pans out. Questions to Google reps from PC Mag would neither confirm or deny that any social bookmarking project is
underway.
1. What I would like to see is Google integrate some of their other stuff before they start buying other crap, or developing other things that they won't integrate. For example, why in God's name would they release a web site builder that doesn't integrate with blogger?
