Google Moving Records Out of China
Google launched the Google.cn China property in January, closely following the censorship laws of the country, but feels that in order to prevent China's government from accessing the data without Google's consent, they find it necessary to relocate all queries records to a secure location within the US where is cannot be touched.

(Page 1)2. Uh...... By doing that, google is risking china to ban their site. Chinese government is already banning a lot of foreign sites. Even blogger.com.

3. Heck, by doing that Google's more likely to have the US government try to find a way to co-opt those search results as intelligence gathering on the Chinese people. I don't necessarily think the data is that much safer here in the US than it would be in China, other than Google fighting a tremendous legal battle to keep the NSA and the DOJ out of the search results.








1. I would have to say that this is an excellent move on Google's part. I commend them for this.
