Whats The Deal with Gmail Lately?
Could this be sign of some new updates? New additions to the interface? New features? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Last night it was down for myself personally for about 30 minutes.
Anyhow this looks like it all points to some kind of updates, whether it be new service additions, or server maintenance. Happy Emailing!

15. I'm thinking that the server load is the problem with gmail. Search is a quick hit and you're in and out, and the cache is very helpful, but the email server, that's a moving target and caching is virutally useless, so it might just be that it's not their focus... after all it is a beta product and they did say in the EULA that they may discontinue it at any point. Perhaps it's just not working out for them enough to care.

1. So you're saying that we're supposed to be excited when our email stops working?
Makes sense to me.
