Google Mars Launches onto the WWW

Google Labs are serving up some great detailed Mars imagery created by the great minds at NASA. NASA researchers Noel Gorelick and Michael Weiss-Malik from Arizona State University worked on this project to create what are some of the most detailed maps of Mars ever made.

Google Mars has also pinpointed locations for spacecraft landings, names mountains, canyons, dunes, plains, ridges, and craters. As well, Google has linked NASA articles relating to specific Mars locations.

Make sure to check it out, im sure it’s a lot cheaper to visit  http://www.google.com/mars/ than to book a flight on the next shuttle launch!
