Google was voted number one brand by consumers as their favorite online brand. Through research by Superbrands using UK
participants, Google was found to be the most favority online brand. In the most trusted online brand it was listed at
number two, just under the BBC. Most reliable category it hit number two. The study also found out that users with a
spare hour to visit found Google in the number three position.

1. It's interesting to note, that even though the internet has an international presence, there are still very localized sites out there. Ebay makes it, but not Amazon? I've never even heard of Friends Reunited, but it seems to be the UK version of a number of sites that are more popular in the US. What I found most interesting Firebox appears to be the UK version of ThinkGeek, but I doubt ThinkGeek would even show up if a poll like this were conducted with a US audience.
