A neat little Google Calendar Notifier has been developed. It displays your Google Calendar notifications similar to
what Outlook would do.
After you create an event in Google Calendar, there is an option screen to be
notified by email, or xml feed. There is a tool tip in your application drawer that displays how many events you have
approaching.
The calendar that you are using has to be set up as shared, or ensure that you are using a
private feed URL.
The website has full
instructions on setup and integration. It is currently only available for Windows based systems.
