3. Same here
First run - crash
Second run - supposedly synchronized, gave message that it deleted 90 events in google and asked if i wanted to do the same in palm... Hell no!
Third run - crash
The program sounds like a good idea, but def. needs more work, including interface.

4. At the instruction of Companion Link, I uninstalled my previous copy of Companion Link. I then installed a 6/7/06 build. When I tried to synchronize my Palm data from my handheld to my Google Calendar, the same thing happened. It started the HotSync process and then the application crashed and froze my Palm desktop sofware.

5. You are making me feel better. I worked on it for about 2 hours and had only a little success. It worked twice and crashed my system 10 times. I can't figure out why it worked. Some things I tried. I am not sure it works with Mozella so I switched to Explorer. I also turned off my virus software. I also tried syncing with palm desktop instead of the palm. In addition, a long time ago I had installed a program to sync my palm with Yahoo. That program was causing problems (as the software notes in its instructions. I just missed that one). So I unistalled intelsync Yahoo, uninstalled my Palm software, uninstalled the sync software, then reinstalled Palm and sync software. It then worked, but I can't get it to work again.
When it worked, it worked well. I hope they iron out the wrinkles because if it works better it will be a good product.
6. Thank you all for the timely info. I am going to wait a week or so in hopes they correct the problem. I would like to hear if anyone is having success and will let you know if it works for me when I try it.

7. I tried everything to make this work. This would work so great for me. But it crashed my palm every time I tried to hot sync and it froze my desktop when I tried it from palm desk top. I have the most current versions, patches and builds of palm, windows XP and Companion Link software. It was very frustrating. I see I'm not the only one with a headache.

8. I tried companionlink on two computers and on one it insisted my google information was invalid so I even used cut and paste to copy the info and it failed. I tried it hot-sync style and it broke hot-sync. I then tried it on another computer and it counts up to 179 and hangs and won't exit. I see nothing on the google calendar.
I think companionlink needs a serious kick from the market. I wasted over an hour total and then found this list of people who had the same issues.

9. This does not work. The "known issue" is that if you have more than 300 calendar entries it crashes. It worked fine when I synced a palm desktop with 10 calendar entries, but it crashes and burns with my "real" desktop of all my calendar entries. Do not waste your time downloading until they fix this software.

1. I installed the application and it crashed both itself and my Palm Desktop when I tried to upload my calendar to Google.
