Wouldn't it be great to have the same browser setting for every computer you went to? Google Labs has done it with Google Browser Sync.
Google Browser Sync is a Firefox extension that syncs browser settings. This includes history, cookies, passwords, and of course bookmarks! Not only does it do it for your main machine, it also works to sync all computers you touch.
Browser Syncing keeps whatever computers you specify, synced across the board. Even keeping the settings for open tabs and windows. Whatever computer you have installed the extension on will be automatically synced when they start up.
Setting up the Google Browser sync is easy. First off you will need a Google Account. After that, download the "browsersync.xpi". and follow Google's steps. After the browser has been restarted at the end, it should all be ready to go.
There is a setup area where Google will take you through the steps necessary where you can choose which components you would like to keep synced, and what ones you would like to sync to other computers via a PIN that will protect your sensitive personal browser information.

1. Fantastic as i'm about to install Linux on a dual partition and don't want to waste time copying all my settings etc...especially if i use both OS's. However, do i really want Google knowing all my passwords??
