Adobe has signed an agreement to offer and distribute the Google Toolbar with various different Adobe products.
The Google Toolbar will be part of the Shockwave Player installation process, specifically for Internet Explorer in Windows. Could this be due to the previous debate that Google has had with Microsoft that makes the MSN LIVE search the default search tool in the new unreleased version of their operating system? Supposedly, most people would not even know how to change this default setting in the OS, upsetting Google so much, they were forced to make a legal stance on the issue.
This makes things stand on a little more even ground, since many users will have to install the Shockwave player to gain access to their preferred list of sites they visit frequently.
This new team up between Google and Adobe is sure to produce some amazing results in the industry. Two big players together that are focused on improving the ways customers engage with their ideas and information.

1. As big of a fan that I am of Google, I'm worried about a collab with Adobe. From a consumer point of view, Google has done much to please. When I think of Adobe, I think of the Reader that should be a VERY basic sorta utility, but has a rediculous load time, not to mention a very shifty install.
I agree that it's bull crap that MS is doing what they're doin, but we all have to realize: they're MS.
If there's any thing thats positive about knowing a jerk, it's that you can expect them to be a jerk. All in all I don't think this is the way to go. Google should maybe instead start a campaign to educate people on how to switch their default search engine.
